NUNS!


And that is my day at work summed up. I actually hid in a toilet until they went away. I may be Technically Catholic but nuns scare me, just like priests. I always have a feeling that they know EVERYTHING I AM THINKING and are preparing to make God aware of this fact.

Neeargh.

Seeing Clare tonight. Really, it's a good thing that the nuns didn't get close enough to read my mind.

I get that feeling with priests as well. Never had any contact with any nuns though.

that is the most rediculous thing i think i have ever heard. If you think nuns are scary then techniquely you think every proffesion is scary
a nun is just a job just like being a cleaner or working in morrissons

Well, no, it's not just a job. They are scary people who have devoted their lives to God - and this is the important one - and hate everything that is essential to being me.

I'm christian and Nuns creep me out!

(And I'm sure not all nuns hate what is essential to being you. Many are far less judgemental and caring than other people. But there's something that still creeps me out. Partly the fact that they DO have the 'priest' effect - ie I know what you're thinking aura, -though if God is all knowing He doesn't need them to tell him!- but something creepy about the dress/all looking the same/denying everything that's in this world - sometimes seems like denying one's own identity. Which is the scariest thing. I KNOW they have their own personalities, but sometimes it seems like the whole regime if I can call it that aims at wiping it out. And that's what scares me.

personally i find them less scary than police, but more sary than shop assistants.
