I have completed all of the reading for the Mauve and Dangerous Awards. I'm fiendishly proud of myself despite the fact I am swaying slightly and looking mournfully at the copboard in a "But... why are the teabags gone?" type of way. My head is killing me, but it's been worth it because there are some absolute crackers in there, one of the humour ones which I'd never read before but had me howling with laughter and scaring the dog.

I just got a phone call from my mother who is abosolutely and completely slaughtered:

"HELLOOOO!"
"Hi Mum."
"Who's been evicted?"
"Kemal."
"NOOOOOO. You're lying you are you're making it up."
"No, honest! *beat* Have you had a lot to drink?"
"Nonononononono."
"Oh, god."

She passed the phone to Dad who sounded very amused and told me that they'd want picking up later than expected and was that a problem? I replied no and explained my sicky plan. He laughed and told me I'd be a good politician, then. I peered suspiciously at the phone and told him to phone me when Mum was done swaying around the room.

I am going to go and find some painkillers and an activity that doesn't invovle focussing for a while. Lie in tomorrow. *is blissful*
