Aug. 25th, 2005 03:34 pmMy laptop will now forever be called Joan. Not Umad, as was suggested, but Joan. Oh, god.
I'm sure I had something to discuss, but nothing springs to mind. As such, I will type until something does. Ho hum...
Ah, yes. Today I was somewhat tired at work (read: I had big black circles under my eyes and bumped into a wall at one point) but it was all worth it, as amongst other things it meant that I didn't really have to do much today. In fact, the most exciting part of my day would probably be -
I just have to stop here and say that the new Franz Ferdinand song does some funny things to me that I am currently containing by turning the radio up as loud as it'll go and dancing on my computer chair. IT IS GOOD YES PRECIOUS. AND NOW THEY PLAY THE WHITE STRIPES O YAYNESS.
I am happy.
Anyway. Most exciting part of my day is definitely Radio 1 making my day, but the second most exciting part is being paid. Admittingly, over £200 of it is going towards debts and stuff but it's a warm fuzzy feeling to look at my account WITH GLEE and opposed to a sinking feeling of dread.
Tomorrow, I am going on a road trip to Blackpool to see the Doctor Who exhibit. This is the most gloriously sad thing I have done for a very long time, and I am tremendously looking forward to it, even though it involves a drive on the M6 OH THE FEAR. This means that once again, I actually have to clean out my car as it accumulates a shocking amount of crap in a short space of time. Perhaps time for a new rubbish bag, too.
I like capital letters too much, I think. And I have nowt else to do tonight. I might blitz my Minor Characters Ficathon story and get it out of the way, and lo! for I shall type it on Joan. Bliss.
In entirely unrelated news, my mum is now longer being weird with me. This is a Very Good Thing.
