hathycolI just got a really, really big package from home. It was huge and made me laugh muchly. Favourite black jumper has turned up! And a green t-shirt! And the kinda skanky vest top I needed for Halloween! And a multi-pack of crisps! And Ginger Nuts! And PG Tips! And all my post! And a letter from my Dad! We have very similar senses of humour and I nearly cried with laughter reading it:
"To fill up your room and table space we have let your room to a Norweigan student from Edge Hill called Erqhuart. A different sort of person, currently studying Ancient Chinese Wellingtom Boot Manufacture and Pigeon Fancying. Not a bad sort, but he does tend to have rather a strong smell of picked herring about him. However, your mum says not to worry as she will be able to get rid of this aroma, at least out of the curtains, by the time you return for Christmas..."
No cheese, but the crisps are cheese flavoured which is close enough. And no glasses, but I just phoned Dad to thank him and he said they'd forgotten and would send them next month.
Which is fine by me.
So, good mood prevails this morning, even though I still haven't done my Spanish homework because I spent last night chatting to housemates and various other people in a rather amazing conversation. As such, I will do the Spanish while I'm eating lunch or something. However, I need to go and shower and finish packing before all of this can happen. As such, to the shower! Probably won't speak again until after this weekend, so I shall see all you lovely human beings on Monday. Have a good weekend!
