Oct. 15th, 2005 06:43 pmToday, I have done nothing but re-read Dr Jackson's Diary and make a lasagne. Now, the second of these is quite the achievement - and if I say so myself, it looks like it's going to be fucking awesome - but it does rather mean that everything is now tinged with a smell of onions and garlic. It is waiting to be baked, and I may throw it in soon because I am fucking STARVING. Ho hum.
Derya is cleaning the toastie maker what the fuck.
Sorry about that. Clean toastie maker is a very positive thing.
Anyway. The heatig has come on - hurrah! - and it looks as though we're going to have a very quiet, very mellowed night. Sarah and Derya bought a cheap bottle of red from Tescos, the lasagne is ready to go, we even have a movie to watch.
Why do we manage the quiet nights in on a weekend?
It's probably a good thing, though, as I am in a very strange mood and it will do me good just to stay in, I think. There was a whole lot more here, but I couldn't think of how to phrase this in a way that wouldn't end up causing conflicting loyalties and stuff. So I got rid of it and just... I don't know.
loneraven phoned, and that helped, I think.
I'm going to go and put the lasagne in rather than, y'know, confront feelings and stuff. I don't think I'm very good at this. I've never had reason to be before.
