Today was a good day, strangely.

I worked through both my breaks. Which shows Initiative and other such guff. More importantly, I found myself, like, interacting with people. I knew both of the people I was sitting with in my lecture, and I walked to my tutorial with Ross. This might not sound like much, but having been increasingly paranoid in the last few weeks that I have no friends outside the house, I felt very proud of myself.

Also, in the tutorial? Henry of Navarre. Who I wrote fic about once. I didn't know the background then, and I'm pleasently surprised to discover I may have actually written him right. Go Me and so on and so forth.

Also, my car tax is sorted. I practically danced, it has to be said.

And now, to my essay O' Doom. I will get this bastard finished by tomorrow night, sleep be damned. Seriously, though, I'm pleased with today. Given I've been in the mood of anger and rage the last week, it's a lovely change.

Also? Reading Week on Friday. YAY AND SUCHFORTH.

ALSO ALSO ALSO kelemvor sent me cheese, which is very much appreciated, and dragonlady7 sent me a postcard, also very much appreciated. MUCH LOVE.

Hurrah! So nice to see that you've cheered up a bit. And you lucky bugger with reading week, us poor biologists don't get one! Enjoy it, you deserve a break :)

Did the cheese arrive safely and were both kinds acceptable? I ask because it's normally sent in refrigerated vans, and we have medium C/CITY and white stilton with apricots available as well (although I wouldn't touch the medium C/CITY...).

The chedder made me leap about like a crazy person, and Sarah leapt on the Stilton and is muttering about broccoli and some sort of soup. It's All Good. Expect a letter back from the house. There may be biscuits...
