Good mood - still high!
I'm going to bed in a minute. However, I spilled tea on my jeans and have no replacement (laundry day tomorrow) so I am revelling in the novelty of updating my LJ whilst in my underwear. Alas, this is somewhat nasty underwear, but if you'd like to imagine a lacy red number, please feel free to go ahead. The red might clash with my Dalek t-shirt that I'm still wearing, though. Sorry. Maybe the Dalek could be in sexy underwear too?
Ugh. Weird thought train, all bought on by a sudden boost of self-confidence. And wearing naught but my pants. I am not in a good enough mood to dance in them, but you never know what the morning will bring.
Finally, I have listened to Teardrop by Massive Attack eight times today. This is possibly a bad thing, as I will now have slow and lazy dreams of an abstract nature contemplating the meaning of life. It's just that kind of song, but there we are.
Had a phone conversation with my mother today. Any conversation that begins with "You know, your grandfather wants to meet Simon" makes you appreciate the time you have left. And is also guaranteed to cause me heart failure. Dear god. It's a terrifying idea.
Also, I quoted Virgil in Latin today.
It's been that sort of day. But a better day. And tomorrow will be a better day, and so on and so forth. Yes. *nods*
