essay blether, sorry all

hathycolWell, buggar.
After carefully grafting away on Charlemagne's military achievements, I just realised that I hit 1,000 words and only have 500 to put in the entire Carolingian Renaissance, legal and administrative reforms, links with the papacy and, of course, a half decent conclusion.
I'm oddly amused, in a sort of "God, it's taken me this damned long to just do military conquests? He didn't have THAT many!" (Well, he did, but most of them are a bit pithy and people tended to run away once, y'know, he'd killed a few thousand people and taken sons captive and whatnot. Fear does that to people. Better for than against, y'know?) Oh well. Hopefully hopefully please god let it happen I can finish this bastard tonight.
Busy busy. For a change. AND I made Derya cook tonight. I did reel off instructions down the stairs at he, but it worked. Besides, I'm giving the girl a lift to Leuchars at bastard 7.30 in the bastard morning. She owes me. I don't mind doing it (I volunteered!) but yeesh is that early.
Right. Back to the essay. From one perspective, at least it's only another 500 words, right? < /gallows humour >

I don't CARE if it seems to be working, I CAN'T KEEP OD-ING ON TEA AND CHOCOLATE.
