I have lots of stuff to do today. I am going to Preston tonight, getting probably very drunk, and going to see Lizzles tomorrow and I have no idea what I'm actually doing on New Years Eve but I'm sure something will crop up. It always tend to. How am I suddenly so busy? This is insane! Ah yes, it's because I'm going back to uni on the second of January. I should probably start packing tomorrow, and this time remember the egg cup.
What did I do yesterday, bar annoyance? I went to the happy world of Tescos with my mother. Actually, Tescos is not happy and is an evil corporation, etc, etc, but Mum gave me a trolley, a smile, and said 'Merry Christmas'. I don't think I ever wrote here what I actually recieved for Christmas, and, y'know, it was a happy amount, some CDs, money from relatives, that sort of thing, but my Christmas present from El Parento was a trolley full of shopping. I went mad. Name brand, baby! Sort of, anyway. Heinz beans and Ribena constitutes a lot of it, as well as the nicest rose wine that I can only seem to find in England, not Scotland. It's all good and means I will have a car full of basmati rice, pasta and various sauces.
I will eat well.
I also went to Iona's house and sat around and chatted for a very long time, mostly involving Tennant squee. Driving home in the icy weather, combined with flurries of snow, on a pitch-black country lane is in my top ten list of things I will try and avoid.
Anyway. I have done no work today and this is beginning to get a little irritating. Also, there is no phone signal where Simon is and that may be the most depressing thing ever. Well. Nearly as depressing as my MO1005 exam being on a Saturday.
I should start revising. No, really. But I have a cold and my head hurts, so I really don't want to.
