Jan. 11th, 2006 02:52 pmMy brain hates me.
For example, I couldn't sleep last night at all. As such, it was a perfectly logical course of action to go the beach at 2am last night and jog. This was actually rather good fun, even though the exercise nearly killed me. There are bats on the harbour - did anyone else know that?
I came back home and lay awake staring at the ceiling and thinking Deep Thoughts and other such great fun. I could have sworn my alarm was set for 9.30am so I could get out of bed and as such do lots fo revision and sleep my way through tomorrow evening and able to get out of bed for 7.30am tomorrow.
Derya woke me up at 1pm.
I have a pack of Nytol now. They are herbal, so overdosing on them will make total sense and not kill me. I am not drinking any caffiene today, or eating anything sugary, past about 6pm.
I will be in bed by midnight if it kills me to do so. When I do this kind of sleepng pattern, though, the extra sleep in the last few days tends to get me through until about a day later. As long as I give myself time to wake up, the long walk to the sports hall should wake me up happily.
Also I have yet to start looking at anything for modern history, which is a little worrying, given that the exam is on Saturday and I actually have no idea what the exam structure is. I need to read through the textbook, make frantic lectures notes (note to self: possibly do extra on Thirty Years War, was an important one except I was in bed) and generally try not to cry.
Also I have no idea where the exams are taking place. Where the fuck is the sports hall?
I wish I wasn't such a total failure at life, sometimes. I'm hiding inside my jumper and refusing to go out today. Except to find the sports hall.

Date: 2006-01-11 03:14 pm (UTC)Apparently the Sports Hall is 'by DRA'. This means nothing to me other than 'the other side of town'.
I think I will go and investigate if it has free parking.

Date: 2006-01-11 03:22 pm (UTC)And you will do fine at the exams. If you honestly feel like you won't do your best on them, though you can easily defer them - you'll either have to write a few extra essays or sit them in September. I did that last year and it worked fine.
*hugs*

Date: 2006-01-12 10:39 pm (UTC)looks like you haven't failed at life. i always wrote vague essays and yes, people picked up on it occasionally, but you gain more points for being interesting, mildly well informed and having a reasonable opinion that you can back up. and legible handwriting. spelling is optional.
also i take it you found the sports hall :D
