Jan. 12th, 2006 03:37 pmWell, that just improved my day.
Finished ME1001 exam (for those that care, I did a question on St Gerald of Aurillac, the medieval econonmy and the Vikings after a shaky start of heresy, crossing it out and going for what looked like fun) and then came home. It's done. I, personally, think I was far too vague and I wrote down about three dates in the entire thing. I'll just have to see what happens, won't I?
I then proceeded to run home, bewail my exam a little and run like a mad thing to my appointment to see my advisor. Yes, through some miracle I managed to see my advisor! No more Spanish for me! The course I wanted, alas, has closed down. After some flailing ("Do you want to do English?" "Hell no." "What about philosophy?" "Eeerk!") I have been signed up for *deep breath*
Russian/Soviet Literature And History Of The 20th Century.
No kidding.
I suppose it's a history. And it is not Spanish. This is what counts. Essays! Yay! (I like essays, sort of.)
Also,
spockette is doing the Moving In thing. In fact, that is probably her rattling around downstairs. I should go and take back all the stuff we chored from Lisa's room, but that includes my bookcase. I THINK NOT.
Today would be improving if I did not have an exam in less than 48 hours that I have yet to revise for. Also I am so tired that even moving is currently an effort. Things I have learnt: herbal medicine works on me - I had two Nytol and just felt a bit tired after an hour so took a third and PASSED OUT to have vivid dreams and wake up at 6.30am in a complete shock) and my body disapproves of being awake before it is light. No, seriously, it was dark when I left the house at 8.45am. This still works out to perhaps five hours drug-induced sleep and I am suffering for it now.
Must... read... Pettegree... I think tonight I shall re-read my textbook and do lecture notes tomorrow. IT'S OKAY BECAUSE I DID THIS FOR A-LEVEL YOU SEE.

Date: 2006-01-12 06:13 pm (UTC)Also, philosophy modules? Are worth 10 credits. So I would have to do two whichs means another four hours of class time, two more essays, one more exam and Too Much Effort.
Russians are love! The course looks, um, as dull as ditchwater, but there will be history! In Soviet Russia, the books write you! Too many exclamation marks! I have to convince myself this is a good idea!
