So.
Firstly, I have updated my userinfo. It is boring. If anyone has a better concept, say now, because I dislike it.
Secondly, never listen to anyone who volunteers to help dye your hair and has never done so before. This is fine with semi-permanent colour as it GOES AWAY. Less so with permanent. In an attempt to rid myself on my terribly trailer trash roots, I have orange hair.
In places.
You see, the top? Is my natural colour, and therefore has now gone a very bright coppery colour. The rest? Is a lot darker. This is an unusual look, to say the least. It doesn't look too bad, possibly because I have adapted to it. At any rate, I hate it a lot less than I did. The bottom of my hair, ponytail and such, is the colour I was after.
If anyone asks, I'm going for the Elizabeth I look. Curly and ORANGE. Why does my hair always go orange when I aim for red? Why?
And if anyone laughs too much (other than Simon, who howled with laughter at my reaction. Since he helped dye it, though, it is HIS FAULT), I'm going to the hairdresser and taking my luck as a model and paying for the dye. "Model needs to be open-minded" according to the place in St Andrews.
Well, it can't get worse.
I can always wear the Jayne hat if it gets too bad.
And now? I need to plan a meal for one as Simon is at some compulsory maths thingie. Any ideas for someone working with two hobs and a toaster?
Ironically the Firefly theme just started on my media player. I am trying very hard not to be too sucked into this fandom...
Exam results come in tomorrow. I am unaccountably nervous, more than I thought I would be.
