Feb. 14th, 2006 01:53 pmI wasn't going to update today, because it would either be a bitter polemic on the irony of Having and Not Getting and the generic unfairness of finally finding and not being near, or more realistically a wanky, emo post involving lots of the crying I'm doing at the moment because argh this sucks and my brain is permanently wired to DOOM AND DESPAIR, possibly due to do much reading of dystopian novels and my light reading being Night Watch. Happy book next, I think, because I'm bloody unbearable at the moment.
However, three things today have made me smile:
1. Simon is lovely. I knew that already, but still.
2. Someone bought me Thornton's Chocolates. They were outside my door this morning. I'm not sure who, although the smart money is on Katie.
3. I decided to ignore Guy Boring Rowlands, came back after medieavel history and went back to bed for two hours. I have just woken up again, which is nice.
That is all. I am going to go and make toast for lunch. w00t.
Tonight I will be in the pub, with Kim, sobbing into our wine glasses and watching Doctor Who on the laptop. This, you see, a sensible thing to do and also gets us out of the house because if I'm lonely on Valentines than everyone else shall LOVE IT AND DESPAIR. Yes. *nods*
[eta: and I just discovered a single red rose outside my door. It's beautiful, but seriously, this is odd. And nice. Odd, though.]

Date: 2006-02-14 04:51 pm (UTC)And I have Dr. Boring as my tutor. This makes me want to cry. We have yet to have a single tutorial with him and already he's shouting at us via email for being slackers.
Anyway. We shall go to the pub and I shall buy you Alcohol as compensation for those envelopes and the lift to the faculties office and we will watch Key To Time until we get thrown out of the pub. (yay, Princess Astra!)
