Feb. 27th, 2006 02:14 pmThis is not how my Monday was meant to begin.
Missed my hair appointment because I was, uh, asleep. To put it another way, I woke up, looked at the alarm, went "I don't have a lecture until noon, why am I awake now?" reset it and went back to bed. It wasn't until 10.30am I realised where I'd gone wrong.
Now I need to go and find myself another hairdresser or alternatively I need to wait until I go home and flail at Mum and bribe her into paying. I need my hair cut. It's getting stupid. But no, I have awkward hair, that you need experience with.
Argh.
The extra sleep is very much appreciated, though.
I came back to this draft on the uni computer in the library and it just restored all of that from this morning. Weird.
Anyway.
Apart from that, I went to a meeting tobitch discuss the School of Languages today. I can't seem to escape it, but I had a good time dissing SP1003 and praising RU1012 ("but, um, some tutorials and possible academic reognition would be nice"). More importantly, there was a free lunch. I stole sandwiches for
spockette, so that should cheer up my Russian Lit lecture somewhat.
On that topic - I have SO MUCH TO DO over the next three weeks it isn't funny. My first gobbet for history is in on Wednesday, the Russian essay is in a week on Friday and my medieval history essay and the other two gobbets are in for the Wednesday after that. My personal deadlines are hysterically funny to see because they're pencilled in with a lot of swearwords around the Moxx of Balhoon, which is next month's calender picture. (Yes, I have a Doctor Who calender. Shuddup.) I have so much work to do that it isn't funny anymore, so I will actually try and do some of it.
Yay.
Also, because I am insane, I'm auditioning for Wyrd Sisters tonight. Possibly tonight? I'm meant to be making a chicken casserole... oh, buggar. The mix goes off soon so I'll have to do it tonight.
Okay, auditioning for Wyrd Sisters tomorrow then. Busy busy.
