OH MY GOD SNOW.

SNNNNOOOOWWWWW.

IT IS SNOWING.

Well, it's not snowing any more, but it WAS.

OH MY GOD.

So, I woke up at 11 to hear shrieks of "LOOK AT THE SNOW!" so I dressed is record time and flung myself outside with gay abandon to see what the neighbours were up to.

I have photos! But I have no camera, so I have photos which will be posted ALL THE TIME depending on how quickly various neighbours put their photos up. These are Naomi From Next Doors Photos:

We were instructed to go to the beach, so we did.


It was very cold, though.


So Katie and I (Sarah went to grab something to eat) followed more instructions (you can just see the back of our house on that photo, it's the one by the little person by the lamp post - I told you Albany was grotty!), because...

Clive had made a snowman!


See, the snowman has flowers. It is going on a hot date, or rather a lukewarm one so he doesn't melt, so he is called Luke.


That's William, Brynony, Sarah, Aoife, Katie, Clive, George and obviously me.

Then we made our own snowman, but it's bigger, with an empty bottle of wine in its mouth. It is a snowbo. Heh.

I am very proud of the snowbo. I have a stupid hat, I know this. Also bear in mind I'd just gotten up and flung myself out of bed and left the house.


Sarah and Katie are also very proud.

Ahahahaha. This is totally worth putting off doing my essay, and not eating yet, and getting out of bed earlier than I thought I would.

Life is very, very good right now. And I will now go and get something to eat, and go to the Union in the snow to see if I got a callback for Wyrd Sisters and then I will do my essay. It probably won't snow again, but it's worth the Arctic conditions. (Not got above minus temperatures for a week now - FINALLY they put the heating on all day.)

Awesome. I haven't seen snow in years, I forgot how much fun it is.

SNOW! Oh, you lucky, lucky thing. Glad you made proper use of it! We still have no snow here, very disappointing. I have been assured many times that it will snow, but so far, nothing more than a few flakes.

Also, your hat is just like mine. *g* I tend to be told I look like a bank robber, or even an asexual bank robber. But I likes it, for it keeps my head lovely and warm. Hat wearers unite! :)

It is! I wore the Jayne hat into town to buy milk - it's not on the photo because I couldn't find it in time...

i love st andrews! we ran round like crazy excited stupid people taking pictures of the snow, i tried to persuade someone to pier walk with me but am quite glad nobody would now cos i think i probably WOULD have been blown off id tried, but twas fun. the snow on the beach thing was seriously odd, but totally amazing. so much better than parbold!

WE HAVE SNOW TOO! It snowed yeasterday afternoon and last night and it is STILL HERE TODAY! The neighbours' snowman got stolen!
