Mar. 14th, 2006 11:18 pmI've finished my essays! And it's not even tomorrow yet!
*dances*
Well, I've not quite finished. I've finished my gobbets which are due in for noon, and I've finished my ME1002 essay but it's not due in until 5pm, so I'm going to give it a night before I look over it and edit it. The work itself is... pretty bad, it has to be said, but I'm confident that they should all be passes if not double figures, so thats what counts. MO1006 guy is a total twat but a very generous marker, and my ME1002 seems like a nice person, so we'll see on that front. I am feeling very proud of myself, though, because although it's pretty close to the line, my frantic scheduling of doom has worked, though. I'm even in the word counts for all of them. This probably means I didn't do the right work, but, well, I'm over the suggested word-count but not at the 2,000 mark which is when it gets too big. Longer essays are not necessarily better, and it also means I don't have a hellish job of editing tomorrow.
I even had a nap this afternoon, because I fell asleep twice in Russian and figured I wouldn't make a much-needed all-nighter if I didn't powernap. This powernap was disturbed by work (argh) who thought I had to be in tonight. I told them I totally wasn't meant to be and had an essay to do and they laughed and told me not to worry. It may pay shit, but at least the people are nice. However, the all-nighter has yet to materialise so I'm feeling disturbingly perky and not wantint got sleep just yet. I should edit now, but I wrote it this evening. I won't see the mistakes! So I shall meander about for a little while and try not to think too hard about my early start tomorrow. But I can nap tomorrow afternoon as well!
Actually, I have work to do. You might think my workload would be over, but it's not. Oh, no. I have all my tutorial reading to do and a presentation. You'd think that the MO1006 guy would give us a week off, but no. That would be too easy. Wanker. The ME1002 lady gave us a week off!
I will do my reading, I think. It will kill any lingering insomnia!
The house is frighteningly clean. I heard a hoover earlier and was frightened to look, but lo and behold the lounge is clean. This is one less thing to do in my days of Blissful Non-Work And Non-Guilt over the weekend.
Right. Off to get something to eat, then reading, then going to bed with the smug feeling of having finished my coursework.

Unless socks = stockings in your strange hosiery world, which I doubt.
