Apr. 4th, 2006 05:48 pmToday is a sunny day! It is most glorious, even if the most practical thing I have done with it has been to go to Tescos with my mother where she brought me very expensive food and name-brand shampoo and all that good fun. This means I am good for food for a few weeks, which should keep the Overdraft Monster at bay for a little while. Speaking of money, I have to remeber to do the student loan form, otherwise I am so fucked it's beyond funny. When is it due in, anyway? I should find it, but I suspect that the origianl details I have are all pinned up on my wall in St Andrews so I will have to fill out the form myself in St A's. Good fun.
Anyway. Simon came around to my house yesterday upon the vague instruction of mother who is terrifying and insists on this sort of thing for Getting To Know You type of thing. It went shockingly well, to the mild surprise of all, as no one is dead. Yay!
Tonight, I am going out. To the Buck. Those who've read this journal for over a year know that pub as the place wherein I spent much of last year, being very drunk which is somewhat miraculous as I didn't have any money then but there we are. Going with all the crew I'd normally go there with, too, and it shall be most marvellous. We might even go the Plough again, and hell, I've been going there since I was 15. *grins* I may as well see how much Ormskirk's actually changed...
AND I am going into Liverpool tomorrow daytime with Iona, as I have a book I need to return to her, as well as buy me some ballet shoes and I haven't been into Liverpool for ages. I am itching to spend money, but I have no money, so I will not. Possibly I should drop it casually into the conversation to my mother that I need jeans? She appears to be feeling very generous right now, given all the shiny name-brand food I will have to take back to uni with me. Also, for the record: the first time anyone else has driven me anywhere for MONTHS and it is TERRIFYING. I will enjoy getting back behind my own wheel on Thursday, thank you very much.
Anyway. I should go and get something to eat, although not lining my stomach. Can't afford to get drunk the conventional way. Oh, I can see this being a night with a bottle of bad wine and then shots. Oh, god.
loneraven, I promise not to be too hungover tomorrow, but please, don't take me near food related things until the Magical Moment when the hangover melts.
