hathycolToday is the most beautiful day of the year thus far. It's actually warm enough for me to brave wearing my denim jacket and I took that off as I walked along the coastal path.
I was actually awake at 8am, too. Colleen for the win! But the garage can only fit me in on Wednesday, which is less good, because it means I have to get up at even stupider o'clock just so I can walk into town my lecture.
Yay. However, at least my car will eventually be fixed, before work, so that is a good thing. I'm leaving the poor thing alone for now.
Anyway, it's a gloriously sunny day, I have piles of work to do... and I crawled back into bed until 11. Shame on me. I have, however, been to one whole lecture and any minute now I'm going to go and do some actual work on my actual essays which are due in in actual two weeks times, all of which are worth 25% of my overall grade of the course on which they're in.
Oh, fuck. I am so not going to be with the conversation thing all through the next few weeks, except for PANIC AND FEAR, so you all know.
In other shiny news, I have my address for next year. Actually saving about £20, all together, because of shiny inflation and rent increases, but there we are. More depressing is the fact that I have a downstairs room and there's no common room, so everything will take place in the kitchen, which I have a nagging feeling I will be living opposite too. I will also probably have someone on either side of me, which also brings me pain. I like living in the corner upstairs, dammit!
However, I'm not entirely sure of the layout of the house, so I'm sure that I'll cope. I sort of like having my privacy, though, so I really hope it's not laid out like Gatty.
I am going to go and lurk in the short loan section now, looking for books on English politics and public opinion pre-1789. Apparently I am meant to have a reading list and an essay plan by now. *hollow laugh*
