Finally, finally, finally I have seen the episode. Dear readers, pleace remember: tip your delivery driver when she is bringing you food during Doctor Who because she is an ANGRY AND BITTER PERSON.

IT MAKES ME HAPPY, YES. *nods excitedly* To be fair, I am watching it with a blurry pair of eyes, the knowledge that I have tap class in an hour and a quilt around me. Still loved it, though!

So, thoughts: Billie Piper is a superb actress, as we all know, but she really got across the whole Cassandra thing.

It worries me faintly that 'chav' will still be an in vogue term in a few million years time, of course.

God Love Zombies. Doctor Who always does the zombie-esque thing well and I have not been failed. Reminded me an awful lot of Terminus in the idea of being afraid of the sick. They were creepy and saddening and this is always a good thing.

David Tennant, I love thee. But we all knew that, didn't we? He's a wonderful Doctor - angry and compassionate and does all the things that he should.

The Face of Boe - finally, we hear him talk! Although, was it that Boe? Have there been many Faces of Boe? After all, we heard that he was pregnant in The Long Game so are we talking to that child?

I loved the ending - both of them, in the sense, the one with the Flesh (okay, I know the science is dodgy but there we are, I suppose - it's the future, who knows what works?) and the one with Cassandra.

Can't wait until next week! When I watch it on a Sunday morning before tap class. *le sigh*

I am a happy mod. And now I have to get dressed etc etc, but YAY DOCTOR WHO WOOT.

A few thoughts...

  1. Cassandra was accessing the top levels of Rose's thoughts, so that's (hopefully) where she got the word "chav". (There's been a study showing that the current litter of chavlings will probably die before their parents, so the subclass might be gone soon anyway.)
  2. I missed the "Terminus" link - was too hung up on the Borg-esque look of the ICU. But yes - well-executed zombies, as ever!
  3. David Tennant - the compassion of 5, the humour of 6 and the anger of paper!7. Can't wait for the next 12.
  4. TFoB was pregnant with Boemina, I believe, but I've not been awake long enough to go scanning through "The Long Game" to find out. Wonder what his next trick will be? (Mind you, the fanlings will still be squeeing over him - "OMG canon MPREG!!!111!!11!!!elventy-one")
  5. Some of my friends came up with the idea that the "T" in "Russell T Davies" stands for "Twee". Draw your own conclusions...
Enjoy tap class, and don't fall in the sink! *Ducks and runs*

FUNFUNFUN! Loved the episode! I must argue that I prefer Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor though :P

Hell, at times I think that I still prefer Tom Baker and I wasn't alive for those episodes...
