hathycolToday I am shamelessly sciving my Russian Lit essay. I haven't read the book (Solzhenitsyn, Cancer Ward) which makes it a pointless exercise. Given I decided in the first week I wasn't going to these lectures because this book doesn't come in Old Skool Second Hand, there was never a chance of me turning up today anyway. I did go to history, though, so not a complete waste, and I'm weighed down with books about medieval trade in the Mediterranean, so I have work to do.
No, honestly, I do. And I will do it, because I am bang on schedule for my personal Getting Essays Done And Not Failing This Semster targets, so that's okay too, as long as I actually do some of the reading for ME1002 tonight. Erm, me for the win?
I haven't done much else of note, though. Today was another absolutely beautiful spring day, also like most days on the coast, it's also very very windy so it's not quite warm enough to go and laze about outside with my work, or even with a good book. I have also signed up for the practice assassins game, and so has Derya, so I can see the paranoia levels in this house becoming increasingly mad. I've already locked down facebook and my LJ just on the Off Chance, so if you encounter me and I gibber and try and stab you with a pen, you know why.
And now, I will go and actually do some work. No, honestly, I will. I'm feeling vaguely motivated and I will take hold of this feeling and utilise it tofight crime pass my degree.
