"It's All About The D."
Apr. 19th, 2006 02:41 pmDear sweet baby Jesus, but I'm not joking when I say the subject line is the title of the dance show. Oh dear lord, but that's embarrassing. I have to actually go up on stage in front of actual people about this.
Erk.
*dies*
Anyway. Yesterday involved me sciving work and watching too much TV. Katie and I sat and watched No Angels and clung onto each other with joy at the end, resulting in Sarah poking her head around the door and asking why, exactly, we were clinging onto each other and occasionally shrieking "OMGCALLUMANDANJIYAY!"
Well, it should be obvious, really.
Anyway, we then got stuck watching something about snuff movies with Sarah and refusing to leave the lounge in any way or form out of SHEER FEAR, although I did open the door to Derya with nothing but a tea mug to keep me safe. I am hardcore.
All of this didn't really help my currently very odd sleeping patterns. My dreams are very odd right now - perfectly normal situations put into very odd ways and basically making me wake up feeling disconcerted. Basically, it's not good fun and I dislike it very much. Oh well. It's not stopping me from sleeping the night away, and in many cases much of the day - I came back to bed after my lecture today. Possibly a mistake (seven days! three essays! not a word written and only two researched!) but I feel better for sleeping. My washing is gently drying around me, and now I'm going to do a little research before ballet. Oh, god, ballet. Oh, god, the dance show. *dies a little inside*
Right. Commerical Revolution of the Middle Ages! (By the way, historians on my flist who might dimly remember doing this at any point: erm, would you say there was a commercial revolution in the Mediterranean in the twelth and thirteenth century? All of the books are a wee bit misleading on this point and I would like someone to just say "Yes" "No" or "Sort Of" rather than just mentioning it in passing and wandering on to yet another point about population growth. Help?)
