In... ten hours or so, I have an exam in modern history. I worked tonight for reasons best summed up as Lunacy, and to be honest, I'm a bit fucked, I think. I always get like this the night before exams, to be fair, but argh. I don't think I know enough and I certainly don't know any dates.
Oh well. It's history, how important can dates be?
You see, I have sort of maybe been entertaining the idea of swapping my degree. Um, to dual honours. Um, in modern and medieval history. Because all the honours stuff is fascinating and I don't think I'd be content picking only one. And I have a nagging feeling I have to Not Fail at both to try and be considered for dual honours (a double workload? Am I insane?) and I didn't do as well as I hoped last semester in modern and basically yes.
This consideration popped into my head only yesterday, because I am an idiot. Such is life.
Oh well. This time tomorrow, it is all over and I have seen Doctor Who and possibly consumed a lot of alcohol. Positive vibes, people! I am first year, so when it's over, it's over!
I should be going to bed now, yes. *nods* I am not particularly tired, but, y'know, have to be awake at eight.
SO glad I'm a first-year. I couldn't get by in other years with this attitude.
