Before I go around talking about CRAZY THINGS, I have to say congratulations to [livejournal.com profile] spacellama and welcome into the world her two new llamabunnies. She is the first person on my flist to actively, you know, give birth (short of those of you who were already mothers when I met you) so it is very exciting, etc, etc. Can't wait for the photos! I will no doubt coo and make alarming sounds in a pitch only heard by dogs.

It is... quarter past ten? In the morning? That's the earliest I've been awake on a non-exam day for something like three weeks now.

I have been awake since six in the bastarding morning. I went to sleep at about two. No prizes for guessing my current mental state. I would, currently, be passed out in blissful sleep right now, but I decided that the way forward was to give my system a shock today and actually go to bed early tonight because I will probably pass out at about four in the afternoon, given how I'm feeling right about now. I used to be able to do mornings, but apparently I am now an old woman and doomed to forever nap and sleep more than can possibly be healthy for me.

Apart from the morning issue (at about eight I realised I hadn't actually spoken to anyone past "Ugh. Yes. Okay. Right. What?") though, job not too horrific. Firstly, only two hours is obviously a good thing, and the work is not hard, although, there's something depressing about setting up the main Union bar. Or possibly the fact that the porter smiled at me and told me that I was being broken in gently. "Just wait until exam leave is over!"

God almighty. I have to keep on thinking of the money. It is important.

Lastly, Bomb in the Mersey. Given the amount of times I have been through the Wallasy tunnel, I find this quite compelling. How do you not find a 500lb WWII bomb if its been floating around, though? *boggles*

Anyway. I should go and do some revision, and I should also do my laundry, given I currently look like a bag lady. Tomorrow I am going to Cambridge! Which is exciting and happy news! Hurrah!

I currently cannot find the energy to be excited about this due to the fluffy cloud of sleep deprivation. Argh. At least I will sleep well this evening.
