Once again, I am late with this. Blame Lordi, Lithuania (I voted three times for that and it didn't win! Gutted!) and the fact I wasn't in my house or at my laptop for my viewing pleasure.

I was, fairly obviously, in the insanely comfortable sofa of Jesus College with a big TV and, you know, other people. I don't think I can handle the luxury. I've actually forgotten what a sofa feels like, but it was possibly the most awesome thing in the whole world ever. Plus, a TV that's more than 10 inches across and isn't older than I am!

I have never before seen the Cybermen. No, really, I haven't. But, um, I think that there were some references in there to old episodes? I think? Maybe? Am I making this up? But my thoughts on this topic are thus:

1. Earthshock. Now, to the best of my knowledge, Adric kicks the bucket in a faintly heroic way to destroy the Cybermen and everyone cheers. Mickey makes a sacrifice to try and help the world and also have hot boysex with Jake. We also got a big explosion, which I also remember being told about Earthshock. Am I making this crap up?

2. Cybermen being kept in cooling tunnels. Even I know that in, um, I don't know the title but it is balck and white and my Dad shrieks like a woman about it, the Cybermen are found in the ice.

I don't care if they weren't references. They were. In my head.

Anyway. All apart from that, I rather liked it. No, really, I did! I like silly adventures with clunky monsters and people going "MWAHAHAHAHA!" a lot.

Jake! And Rickey! Were so doing it! Oh, poor Jake. If I hadn't been, you know, surrounded by people who had met me but once and might start questioning things like my sanity, I would have squeed shamelessly.

Rickey died. NONE OF US SAW THAT COMING.

Cybermen? Are hideously camp. However, the machines to make them into Cybermen are scary as hell. As were the tunnels with the Cybermen in. And I got a little teary with Zoe!Cyberman.

I do like the Doctor in a tux. I won't get bored of this.

Although, on the bad notes, that was the worst end to a cliffhanger EVER. The small, um, TV room thingie that has a name that I have forgotten went slightly mental.

Mrs Moore is a sweetheart. That is all.

I don't realy have a lot else to say, because a lot of last weeks stuff carries over. Next week, I am not looking forward to. I think it'll be a bit naff, to be honest.

The rest of the evening consisted of Eurovision (in which I realised that truly I am deeply sad because I know really nerdy trivia) and I continued in my attempt to Talk To Simon's Friends which I think I did not entirely fail at for I have yet to be set on fire. Hurrah!

Anyway. I am back in Gatty now. I have two more exams tomorrow, both of which I am pretty sure I will fail. No, that's not true, but RU1012 is... not going to be of the good. After that, I need to look for a job and then work out how to somehow consume all the food in the house in a way that is healthy. My housemates insisting on me modelling The Dress Of Budgeting Wonder and I discovered that is is not, as suspected, a size 12, and is, in fact, a size 10. Well. I knew it was snug, but it's not as snug as it should be for a size 10 on me. I walk around in size 14 clothes half the time because I am, you know, not thin. Or not. Hurrah for me! Or something like that.

Sorry. Post-Cambridge posts are always nonsensical, and given that I spent my day on three trains, two of which involved the police hauling people off the train, I am a little weird tonight and will probably stay as such for a wee while because this week I am moving out. I really, really, don't want leave my little bedroom, let alone St Andrews, even if it's just for the summer. I think I'm going to go and see my house in the Gulag tomorrow night.

Also I am using this icon because my userpics run out in ten days and that depresses me immensely. Oiy.
