hathycolIt's been a good few days, even if now I am knackered and falling over a bit and desperately tyrying to finish a ficathon story. To me recipient, if s/he is reading this: I'm sorry. I tried. Honestly, I did, and hell, I still am. I hope it's just not too awful.
But what have I been doing the last two days, if I haven't been toiling? Well, firstly, I am officially out of my overdraft. The bank says so and everything. Hurrah! sevenhelz and just generally had a pleasant day out - there was Brazillian street band marching through town at one point, and we pointed at hideous dresses and laughed, had an old lady cup of tea, went into a bridal shop (the woman asked Helen if she was the one getting married - I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry) and I even enjoyed some captialism. I now have a top to wear to the Proms next week, as well as two bags because they were on sale.
It was just rather lovely, I suppose. It's been a long time since I went on a wander around with some actual mone to spend, and even longer since I last saw the lovely Helen. We talk some utter nonsense together, but it passes the time and she makes me laugh. Lovely!
I spent today running around a field, hitting people with sticks. I'm a bit afraid to look and see if I'm sunburnt, because I suspect that I am. Also had a rather panicky moment when I seemed to have been fired by text. I got one telling me that I didn't have to work for the next two days, and I flailed, because by God I need that money. (I have a shiny and large amount of money to pay for London type stuff next week ARGH.) Fortunately, that got all cancelled and I am back to pulling in the money that I need, but talk about panic.
Anyway! I am going to get on with desperately typing up my ficathon story and is anyone out there willing to beta for me?
