Oct. 5th, 2006 12:03 pmNot a cold. Is flu. Mild but it is there. Still going to Cambridge but may die in the attempt. Simon, if I am not at the station please assume that GNER threw me off the train for biological warfare. I went to work this morning! and spent much of it shaking and taking off as many layers as possible due to the massive fever I've been running for the last twenty-four hours or so. On the bright and happy side, it has broken now, I think, because I am no longer actively sweating or indeed hallucinating. I had a dream about dinosaurs wanting to get into my car, and then I woke up, and they were in fact in my room.
However, I was vaguely aware that they weren't real, which has to be a good thing, yes?
Um. As you can tell, feeling really rubbish right now, although the copious amounts of drugs I have taken to combat aforementioned mild flu are helping, since I managed to eat beans on toast and not throw it up and yay for that.
Yes. Have to leave house (I have skipped one lecture so I feel that I should make the effort to go to go to other lecture which I actually want to because it looks a bit interesting, yay!) in, uh, fuck, when do I have to leave the house, need to grab new matric card and a book, um, right, in two hours. Need shower and need to pack. So should go and do that, then, and not give into the urge to just lie down for another few hours.
Fuck.
Going to see Simon. Makes it all better. Honestly. As long as the train journy does not kill me.
