I'm feeling unusually energised today, which is odd to say the least. Not sure why, really, as for the last two nights I've only gotten a few hours sleep and that normally kills me, but hey, it means I have a bit of time to myself! I managed to blitz through my to do list, and I even did the same today all before 5pm.
I did manage to set the fire alarm off whilst making tea, but accidents happen to everyone. At least the chicken was cooked, and any meal wih potatoes is a good meal. By dint of having nothing urgent (i.e. that can't be left until tomorrow or indeed the weekend), I watched episode three of Robin Hood. I do so love that program, in a sort of "Yay! Peasants with hair gel!" sort of way. Sam Troughton is cute, and I love the sheer cliche fulfilness of it. It does not makes me think, and I like that, especially as Torchwood scared the living CRAP out of me last night. Christ, no wonder I didn't sleep.
Seriously, though, feeling no ill effects from not sleeping. This is puzzling, and I'm tempted to stay up and watch another episode of Robin Hood simply to test out the theory. This might be a bad idea, of course; I have to run a DocSoc meeting tomorrow which I have to go and sort out prizes for (they are AWESOME LIKE WHOA I promise), as well as the food.
I could just watch Robin Hood and nap tomorrow afternoon. See, that sounds like a plan to me. Or I could make use of this time and actually do my reading for next week, or sleep now and do my reading tomorrow and then have the weekend to be prepared for essays...
Ah, sod it, bring on the peasants with hair gel.
