hathycolNo one is dead, I have not been sick from copious consumption of Christmas food, El Familio were unusually generous and discerning this year (I have books for next years course, shower gel, Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes, actual food parcels, and money), Richard Armitage was on the telly last night being sexy (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
emmysuze, were you shouting at Dawn French too?) and I got pissed in front of aforementioned telly with my parents and then we ate dips even though I'd eaten enough to feed Ethiopia for a year.
All in all, a successful Christmas I judge. I did not go to Mass, but I did watch a film about Audrey Hepburn being a nun. That's the same thing, right?
(Also I have not been proposed to this year. Probably a good thing as Simon already did and it might be a bit awkward if someone else did.)
On the downside, I haven't yet seen Doctor Who. Or Sunday night's Torchwood, although I'm not upset by that.
I did watch Babe though. I sat there, with Buck's Fizz (yes, at 11am, apparently now I'm legal to drink and my sister is at the acceptable age for underage drinking it's BOOZE ALL AROUND at Christmas) and cried my eyes out because the music makes me sob. I also remember reading 'The Sheep-Pig' when I was eight (that was the age I started reading to my mum, rather than the other way around) so happy childhood memories.
And that was my Christmas. Traditions are still being formed (two Christmas dinners is one of them, ohgod) but it's all over for another year. I will start posting more as stuff begins to settle down again.
