1. Leopold von Ranke. Great historian he may have been, but why the hell do I have to learn his history? (Oh, I know why, but excuse my rant.) Why does such a history take up 102 A4 pages?
2. Heating has gone back to normal hours rather than the luxurious 6am-10pm cycle. Back to wearing a few pairs of socks and two jumpers at every given moment, then.
3. Kitchen is a tip, and I do not have the time or the inclination to do everyone else's washing up. Again.
4. Many essays due in soon.
5. I drank half a bottle of wine last night which I am regretting. What will I drink tonight?
6. I just made cheesecake for the second time in three days. Except this time, rather than splitting it between eight people, I'm dividied it between, er, three. Also on the cooking theme, I volunteered to make a roast which take ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD TO MAKE.

1. See number six. Roasts are some of my most favourite meals in the world.

Er, I tidied my room and it is now beautiful and will remain so for at least three hours?

I am also falling for LOTR again in a big way. Erm, by that I mean 'I want to read trashy LOTR fanfiction' so if anyone has any decent recs for fic preferably involving Legolas shagging a. Aragorn b. other canonical male Elf or c. a fairly well-written OFC, please send them my way. Instead of reading, say, about the Reformation, the historiography of the above, or Peasant's Revolt on 1381, I want to read fanfiction. Mostly because I actually need a break from Doctor Who right now, or I will go mad and kill everyone at DocSoc this week.
Argh, have to worry about DocSoc this week. Although we are watching Invasion of the Bane and Cyberwoman so that's something.
Right, time to attack at chicken. Awk.
