hathycolToday I am happy, because tomorrow I am OUT OF HERE.
Yay!
I still need to pack and in fact do all my laundry, but still, I am Out Of Here. I am going to plonk myself down with some crisps and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (oh, Ty Pennington, you have never betrayed me) for the next two hours, then I'm going to haul out a suitcase of some description, pack, sleep, and generally be a Happy Person. Things remain rubbish here (Megan's newest trick is sciving college; shame that the graphics teacher got wise and phoned home, huh?) and my sleeping pattern has been thrown out of the window but I DO NOT CARE because I am a. out of this madhouse and b. seeing Simon for the first time in over two months.
Also, I am an idiot. I was reading the TV paper and realised that, hey, that bloke from Hustle played Elton in Love and Monsters, and hey, his real name is Marc Warren. Oh, I think, slightly surprised, wasn't he Dracula in that adaption on telly over Christmas?
Then, in a shocking revalation that I was the last person in fandom to get, I realised that Elton and Teatime from Hogfather was in fact the same person.
Me = dim.
And now I am off for my fix of heartwarming home makeovers. Not sure when my next update will be, but I am contactable by phone, etc, etc.
(Argh, my icons have run out of time and I need to cough up for new ones. Put that on my list of jobs for today...)
