hathycolRight. I know this sounds petulant and stuff, because many people around the world are unemployed and in poverty and whatnot or have to work jobs that make my summer job look like an idealistic utopia but
STOP CALLING ME ON MY DAYS OFF, RGNS. TELLING ME 'IT'S ONLY FOR TWO HOURS' IS A FICTION AND WE BOTH KNOW IT.
Today is my last day off until, er, 4th January and no, I didn't want to come in for just a few hours an hour after you phoned as I was clearly still in bed.
I feel a bit bad and selfish but seriously, I am so willing to work overtime on days I am already there; I just resent having to get up and iron my uniform and arse around on my days off.
Anyway. That rant over it remains the Christmas holidays, 'holiday' being in fact a total lie. I am still, however, having a nice time and am slowly Catching Up With People, and I'm off to see![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
susie22 in about half an hour, which will be nice, mostly because I will have to fling housing information at her. Once again, I have picked a new housemate based on the ideals of 'on livejournal and also I know her.' Sarah is, alas, moving out, Susie needs somewhere to move into come September, and voila! sorted. I'm very very glad that we're not getting a randomer because quite often that works out badly.
(And in the unique way that only St Andrews works; I lived with Lisa in first year very briefly. She was terrified of us and living by herself and moved in Sallies and ironically ended up rooming with Susie. Three years later, Susie is moving in with us.)
Anyway. Nothing but work to look forward to for the next few days but more importantly TONIGHT IT IS THE ROBIN HOOD FINALE AND I AM VERY VERY EXCITED. Mostly to see how they molest history this time, because wahey lads, we're in the Holy Land! With King Richard! Who will probably go to Jerusalem and I will cry with pain but as long as Guy and Marian are angsty I CARE NOT.
... I really need to do some work for my exams. Ho hum.
