hathycolHeath Ledger is dead, as anyone who doesn't live in a cave should be aware. It made some very odd breakfast news viewing, let me tell you.
Erm. Yes. My last couple of days have been rather dull, but I feel I should update to prove that I'm still here and still loving my time off. I haven't done very much with aforementioned time. I've... er... well, I've been to work in the morning, which is gradually getting worse and worse s exams ends and this morning was roughly like the apocalypse. SO MUCH BROKEN GLASS. SO MANY FLOODED TOILETS. SO MUCH VOMIT. On the bright side I have a shiny amount of overtime and a puke bonus, so there we are. Take the good points where you can find them.
I spent most of yesterday reading fiction like it was going to go out of fashion (Nothing But Blue Skies by Tom Holt, if you're interested) but today I have been cleaning and not for pay. I sort of tend to go a bit mad on a sort of monthly basis and I have now cleaned everything except the bathroom, because a. I hate that job and b. I did it three days ago due to the fact that there was purple hair dye everywhere. (Nothing to do with me; I'm just apparently turning into my mother and obsessively cleaning the house even when the mess is not mine OH IT IS A SLIPPERY SLOPE.)
Anyway. Now the house is clean and shiny, even if I'm now a bit sticky and probably requiring another shower. OH WELL.
I am still loving being able to nap after work, by the way. BEST FEELING EVER, even if it's also the worst habit ever.
