Tonight - AltBop, in which I have to battle mild social anxiety and find something to wear and also learn how one goes about organising an Venue 1 event.
Wednesday afternoon - meeting regarding dissertation.
Wednesday - AltSoc committee meeting in which I presume I get told about how I DJ and/or knocked off the bill, given I'm not mentioned on the facebook profile.
Thursday - Inter-Society pub quiz.
Friday - I DJ! Possibly? Hope so, I've sorted out half a playlist and if I say so myself, It Ain't Half Bad. Maybe not the running order, mind you. The whole 'finding something to wear' issue rears its ugly head once more.
Weekend - This would be the sensible time to get the hell on with my essay writing as by this point I will have less an a week to write the two.
Next Tuesday - DocSoc showing of The Time Warrior.
Next Friday - hand in two essays. Sleep like the dead and/or send off e-mails explaining the absence of the essay.
I do thrive on pressure, but this is a little too much for this in-no-way social butterfly. I would really like an evening in front of the telly this week. Alas. Also, I have a headache that feels like an elephant is sitting on my temples, and I can't shift the bastarding thing which means that having to show enthusiasm at tonight's loud and noisy AltBop will be unpleasant in the extreme.
I am likely to be mean to you this week. I'm terribly sorry for that in advance. It's nowt personal.
