damn, you've got some wicked style
May. 7th, 2008 04:13 pmI'm not dead. I may be a bit sunburnt. After the LONGEST WINTER EVER which followed THE SUMMER OF DOOM, even this heat-and-sun loathing pale ginger creature has decided that it's all rather lovely. I'm in a strappy top and drove to Dundee today in the blazing sunshine and played music as loud as I could. Then I got my eyes tested and put the fear of God into the opticians at the prospect of me on the road.
ANYWAY, due to working my arse off over Easter, I actually paid money for glasses for the first time in my life. I went to SpecSavers, as the ads tell you to, and for a bargain price I have a new pair of glasses that are not thin wired black ones (they are tawny thin wired ones, the madness) and some sunglasses. This is the first time in my life I have ever had prescription sunglasses, and they're sort of funky. A bit. It means I will be able to see in the car! Very exciting, clearly.
Unfortunately, things sort of stop being exciting there. I have to start revising like a madowman now, as my exams are way too close for comfort and I haven't even started doing anything for them. On the plus side, I've now officially handed in all my coursework and now just have to flail about my results for it.
Right. Time to go and attack my notes and then tomorrow I find the relevant textbooks. Busy busy, but only for ten days. Then there are vague plans regarding Getting A Job, going to a safari park, Eurovision and an end of exam party. FUN FUN FUN.
[eta: ALSO ALSO ALSO I got all the classes I wanted for next year. This includes Scary Ass Dissertation. Yay! Possibly?]
