hathycolWell, I was going to write about the graduation ball, Jehovah's Witnesses, work, and the ongoing saga of my lounge singer voice but FUCK THAT SHIT because DOCTOR WHO WHAT THE FUCK.
So, you know, I was quite enjoying that. I loved the link=up between everyone. Sarah-Jane and Luke for the win! I loved when someone FINALLY talked about Mr Smith's bloody fanfare. And she was so proud of Luke, and the fear on her face when she saw it was Davros was so beautiful, because she would know, wouldn't she?
And Torchwood! Torchwood YAY. I love Ianto. We all know that. But it was all in-character and I spent all week having the fear that Ianto would die. He is currently alive. THANK GOD. And Tosh and Owen got a mention, which is awesome. YAY. I now have the fear that next week wil result in them all being dead. OH GOD I HOPE NOT.
OH OH OH I also proper loved the flirting between Jack and Sarah-Jane. Sure, one program is all about sex and violence and being able to swear and the other goes out during CBBC but crossover WHY NOT I ASK.
Martha! I was very afraid Martha would also be up for the chop, but she isn't - and once again, has been entrusted to save the entire universe.
Harriet Jones was just utter wonderful win. A great send-off for a great character. She seems to have been aware of Mr Saxon's technology, too; who is Mr Copper? Why does he use the same drumming noise?
Davros! Oh, so beautifully done. Him, combined with Dalek Caan, was as creepy as hell. Seriously. 'The Abomination.' *shudders* Red Dalek! Yay! OUR DALEK FRED IS A RED ONE WHICH MEANS HE IS PROPER CANON AGAIN TOO.
Rose was meh. Liked her teaming with Donna's family.
OH LET'S FACE IT WE ALL HAVE THE FEAR ABOUT NEXT EPISODE. Doctor! What! No! How is this happening? WHY are there not spoiling casters? I have a feeling the key that Martha has will somehow reset the planet and make everything okay, but I'm not sure. Oh, god. Please don't leave me, Tennant. I am fine with the idea of him leaving eventually, but I needed a long run-up to the fact. I am filled with The Fear and am only appeased by the promise of Jackie and Mickey, although I understand the latter is actually a proper film star now as Adulthood went to the top of the box office, I think.
In conclusion, I very very much enjoyed massive great chunks of that, particularly Rose being all pissy as it amused me. "Who's she?" And all the spin-off stuff was great, too. And I don;'t wish to sound ungrateful but NEXT WEEK TO BE NOW PLSKTHXBAI
I am going to go and rest my voice whence I have been screaming at the telly and lost it again.
