Jul. 8th, 2008 11:36 pmWork gave me a bottle of very, very nice red wine to say thanks for my awesome score re: mystery shopping. I am now torn - drink it all because it's lovely, or save it for the same reason? OH, THESE AGONIES DO NOT EXIST WITH THE £3 BOTTLE.
I have drank about a third. I will be leaving the rest, given my quiet resolution regarding weekday drinking and also because it will be very nice to slowly drink the rest throughout the upcoming days. There is also the fact that my resolution about weekday drinking was taken in context of weekends of multiple vodkas and bottles of wine drank in gay abandon. Therefore, I FEEL NO GUILT. Plus, lovely lovely red wine. Om nom nom. (schlurp scchlurp schlurp?)
In other news, I had the nicest sandwich in the world today, courtesy of my Gregg's vouchers, the other part of the 'well done for not fucking up the mystery shop!' package. This is about as exciting as things are getting right now. There are some very vague plans afoot for my 21st next month, vague and hampered mostly because I have absolutely no idea if there's even going to be anyone in St Andrews. If you can/would like to make it up to St Andrews around the 11th August, then drop me a line?

Date: 2008-07-09 11:54 am (UTC)PLUS St Andrews is but an hour from Edinburgh by train and there's a direct bus that's cheaper that is also direct, albeit about two hours longer... it would be absolutely lovely to see you, given it's been literally years. (Which is what happens when you move to opposite ends of the country, I suppose.)
