I woke up this morning to a blanket of snow. My first response was "SNOWMAN TIEM YAYZORZ!" My second response was "No, you have to write 500 words of your dissertation, make a billion cheese rolls, cook up party food and somehow create a cheese and pineapple hedgehog."

So in a year in which I have - yeah, my house is awesome, I know - four seperate lawns worth of snow to make a snowman in, I'm sat on my bed and typing an introduction to my dissertation.

From another perspective, if it sticks around, I will be drunk by about 4pm, so I have a feeling snowmen will happen this evening. Because playing in the snow when it's cold and dark and when you're drunk is a very sensible idea, obviously.

[eta: I'm trying to describe the reactions of people who protested that they'd always been royalists, honest, they just worked with Cromwell because they HAD to, and the only comparison I can come up with is 'you know, like Lucius Malfoy did to Voldemort?' ARGH.]

I hope you got to play in the snow. *hugs* We woke to snow, too, but not much, and it was all gone by 12. :( Work, bah. Not fun.
