Feb. 5th, 2009 11:28 pmHappy birthday,
spacellama and
kittyc1976! May you both have lovely days.
Nothing to update about here that isn't all a bit trivial. I am being fucked around by the insurance company, as per usual, and have to wake up super early tomorrow to shout at them about this before booking a medical examination which I would have known about A MONTH AGO if they had updated my details as we have chatted about twice now. Also it would have helped in my parents ever forwarded my bloody mail up.
All this is doing is inducing rage, which is probably not a great thing when I have work tomorrow and I have to serve the general public and also beg to have my Tuesday shift swapped. Technically, there is no reason to change it, but my classes are now both on Tuesdays - 9-11 for modern history and 4-6 for medieval - and that's the new DocSoc day and all, and I'd like not to have a nervous breakdown every week.
Speaking of nervous breakdowns, though, I actually have a rather busy day tomorroe. Between rage (but the polite, British kind; I'll rant and rave on the internet and to Katie but lord forbid I should ever actually just shout at someone, I shouted at someone on the BT helpline once and felt ashamed for days) and work, I have to leg it to the DocSoc meeting, back home again, shower, change into something nice, and be back out again for my staff meal on by six. It's a sort of cheats meal, given that we have to go through ninety minutes of training beforehand, but free food is free food and not be sniffed at, even if I do have to go through hours of memorable stories and 'brand spirit'.
... oh look, I did have something to update about. I should go to bed. Busy day tomorrow.
