I have this essay due in... er... 23 hours or so, and I've barely written half of it. This counts towards my degree, and I can't find it in me to give a crap. I really want to impress this guy, especially as I don't just get my essay back, I have to go and talk to him about it, and I volunteered to speak at a debate in a couple of weeks so I could do without looking like a complete idiot, but oh no, this is a big pile of crap. I hope he marks kindly. It's bad enough my medieval tutor thinks I'm a transsexual gambling addict. God knows what this one is going to think of me after seeing the cackhanded hack job I'm making of this one. Because, well, I can talk a lot about his life, but it's meant to be his contribution to the discusson of democracy, and all I have is "a bit radical, probably partially responsible for rank and file organisation" which is all well and good fine, but I probably have to talk about Ireland and colonialism which isn't relevant but if I don't write about it then there'll be a large gap and ARGH ARGH ARGH.

loneraven and I are going to start a circus. With a bookshop in it. There will be lions. We're not sure how we're acquiring them, but we suspect it'll involve poaching in Knowsley Safari Park. It's all good, as long as no one stops me from going on the trapeze.
