hathycolI spent all last night dithering around and trying to get some help and advice for some medical problems (not mine) and eventually ended up in Ninewells. Discharge came at 4am, when I drove home into the dawn light. I lay in my bed and couldn't sleep for what felt like hours as the birds sang increasingly loudly, and when I did fall asleep, it seemed like the landlord and a chainsaw that is buzzing non-stop somewhere conspired to wake up me regularly. At least the landlord listened to 'sorry, we got out of Ninewells at 4am, could you maybe clean the drains tomorrow?'
Now I am out of bed, and I have to revise the typology of saints and the evolution of the canonisation process, and eat, and go to the library.
And Mister has escaped by moving the lid off his cage and I don't know how he did it, but he's long gone, and I don't know how to find a missing hamster. I hope he's okay, and that he hasn't gone far, and will respond to the cunning trap I'll set up for him this afternoon.
Basically, I am currently a gibbering wreck and have no right to be as at least I have my health for which I am eternally grateful. But I basically just want to sleep because I'm crap without sleep and just get a bit silly and teary. Also hamster. I'm going out tonight for a meal with my kids, which should be awesome. And I don't want to lose the big orange ball of cute fluff, and I have exams in far few too days and basically argh.
... yeah, that's about it.
