Sort of regretting not phoning in sick to work when I woke up to throw up this morning as I currently feel like I've been hit by a bus carrying ache and pains and soreness, in my head, throat, stomach, muscles, everywhere. Erm. Is probably just a cold. I hope. Swine flu would be embarrassing. I've had the Real Flu before and that was eight times more awful than this, but I do feel like death and I am displaying all symptoms except for the fever because I can't measure that. That said, I'm massively run down and sleepy due to some interesting nights this week and I'm also on my period which may all be contributing. I also work in a shop which means I am in contact with people a lot and oh yes I have al the symptoms.
Really wish I could phone in sick to work. I don't feel ill enough to call a GP but BBC news this morning has made me panic a wee bit. I sort of wish I had taken the advice of the leaflet that came through the post and acquired a flu buddy. I also think Tamiflu is a load of balls and have nod esire to take it but argh help I am panicking.
Painkillers really aren't helping.

[eta: I rarely get ill and tend to ignore stuff until it's too late. Being by myself a ot has involved watching the news more regularly than normal so I am aware I am probably freaking nmyself out based on a cold. Still, though.]
