I had a snow day on the Tuesday before Christmas, and today I went to see the client that I postponed from then. I got home at about 18:45, three minutes after the snow started. I've since been to the shops and back (no milk, no bread, huge queues just like the former Soviet Union). I got home about ten minutes ago, and my footprints from the car to the house are already obscured.

Tomorrow I have no work, but I have to see the dentist and then stay at home to receive the plumber. I confidently predict that both my dentist and my plumber will take a snow day. I don't care; I'm quite happy to reschedule them both for next week.
