Jan. 30th, 2011 12:44 pmIt's been an odd weekend. I went out with work on Friday night and got predictably hammered, which led to a very odd bout of melancholy that I can't quite shift right now. It was a good night, it really was, but it took approximately a thousand hours to get a taxi to get home, which is always a bit rubbish, so I was all 'meh' the next day. This was probably not helped by waking up to discover that I had no milk or bread, therefore negating my chances at toast and tea. FAIL.
I'm in the house by myself at the moment, incidentally. My book of the moment is World War Z, a mistake I realised slightly too late. Every noise is ZOMBIES COMING TO EAT ME. Julia and Ed are back tonight, so that'll be fine, I always feel better knowing there are other people for the zombies to eat.
I'm also not particularly enjoying Primeval this series. To be honest, it lost most of its lustre when they killed off Cutter. This series all just feels a bit disjointed, although I loved last night's episode. OHCLAUDIA JENNY. It's pulling in slightly too many directions, dealing with whatever Tom has going on, and Ethan (Charlotte is SO DULL) and I can't even remember any of the characters names. I would much rather just watch an episode full of Lester and Philip.
I would put in something more interesting here, but I have no idea what to write, really. The world is going up in revolutions and fire, and all I can think about is that I can't be arsed getting dressed today and that Primeval is a bit pants right now. Good grief.
