When a scene from this came on the internet a while ago, I looked at the minotaur and said "BET IT'S A NIMON."

And everyone said "Don't be stupid, they are a silly species to bring back."

And I thought SO WERE THE MACRA but that's a sidenote. Anyway, it was sort of a Nimon and I feel a bit justified in myself as a person.

I sort of hope they haven't gone forever, will be v. distraught without weekly Rory.

I can say no further intelligent thoughts and went out with work last night and got trollied so a bit stunned today.

I am distraught that they appear to have left. To be fair, I have been distraught at every bad thing that's happened to them for the whole of this series. Possibly this is related to me not being very mentally healthy right now. Um. Anyway.

Nimon! I haven't even seen the horns of Nimon, but it's still nice. Also my mum bought me a Doctor Who book IN WELSH and I can understand VERY LITTLE of it but apparently the Welsh for Macra is 'Macra'.

Can't comment with any intelligence until I see the episode tonight, but I've been kind of waiting for Rory to step up and say, "Dude, you're ruining my life, screwed up my daughter, and frequently put my wife in danger. I am so done with this shit." Rory has the brains to see all this. It's about time for him to step up and say something. I hope that's what has made them not be there, rather than another dopey almost-but-not-really killing of Rory.

Rory is quite lovely. I liked what he said to the Doctor about what Amy would say about the house & the car etc. Bless that he didn't seem to care that they'd be leaving the Dr!
