I got the job! The one from last week, that I really wanted!

WOULD BE CELEBRATING LOUDER but ironically on train home from today's job interview, which was a total clusterfuck but hey THAT DOESN'T MATTER. However, cheering wildly on the quiet coach will go down badly, I suspect.

Yep, we've been back about 6 weeks now and are living in Dundee (renting one of the new townhouses in the city quay develoment) which is handy for work and much warmer than our last place in Scotland. We both miss California so much though and are hoping we can move back there again - life really was fantastic in Pasadena and it's hard settling back to things here, particularly the lack of daylight! I really must update LJ again at some point too...

Just seen your latest entry and the new job sounds great - hopefully not too long a commute either.
