TOLKIEN MODERATE:
Live and let live is your rule of life. You like
Tolkien, you don't have any great desire to be
a deconstructionist or an iconoclast, but
neither are you going to tell anyone else what
to do in their fannish pursuits. In your
pursuit of moderation and keeping the peace,
you tend to end up getting flamed by the
extremists at both ends of the spectrum.

Hmmmm. Fun. Hope this one doesn't crap up the entry.

You are a freeform writer. Individualistic with a
sense for the different and challenging, Walt
Whitman and his poetry lacking meter and rhyme
is just what the doctor ordered. You're quick
to write something that the rest of the world
doesn't accept as poetry, quick to separate
yourself from the average joe. An author with a
true sense of self, you have confidence in your
abilities and aren't afraid to show it. :) GO
YOU!

Or this one.
Very... weird few day. And last night was too. Got all happy at the radio, because some advert (I was listening to Rock FM. It was a moment of weakness, and will never happen again! I just... can't... stand... Colin Murray.... yeeeeaaaargh) was rabbiting on about how "We've got the EXCLUSIVE interview with Strider! Yes, thats right, here at Smash Hits, we have one of his EXCLUSIVe interviews..."
Understandably, I was a little confused. Follow my thought pattern:
1. "Oooh! Strider! Slash!"
2. "Hang about, why are they calling him Strider? Why not Viggo Mortenson? Or Aragorn? Dumbass people."
3. "Smash Hits? WTF?"
Turns out Strider is a member of Blazin' Squad. For all the readers of diary who are non-Brit, and therefore free of this... how to phrase this... amobination... they're a really, really bad dody wannabe garage act, comprised of sixteen year olds who got a number one the same week they got their GCSEs. They are all dodgy Mockneys. They annoy me. And now they have someone called STRIDER!
I am never going to ablke to refer to Aragorn as "Strider" in fanfiction without either a. giggling or b. sobbing.
I think my whole mind is messed up at the moment. As y'all may or may not know, I mod an RPG. It's not the best one on the web (yet) but I am going to make it that way if it kills me and the other members. :) Anyway, there's moi, who apart from playing a few canon characters and temping anyone who needs temping (ah, the joy of modding) has an OFC (NOT a Mary-Sue or with any MS tendancies, thankyou very much). I like Elfea. She has personality. She has weaknesses too. She is NOT sheepeyed following the Fellowship around.
She does appear to have developed a boyfriend though. I've gone back to writing het!!! *screams* HOW did that happen?
Actually, it's fun. I had plans to actually, slash her in some way or the other, just for a change of pace. (OFCs never get slashed. Not much, anyway. Tis weird) But we got a newbie, who had an OMC, and it turned out our characters worked particularly well together. Actually, Luke's a brilliant writer. We both understand each others characters, and we write in a similiar style- a lot of RPG posts are short and choppy with no pre-ordained style or anything, but we both write big long epics, mimi-fanfictions with DESCRIPTION and everything. And in Tolkien-esque style. Anyway. Now tney're hurtling towards their first kiss and it just amused me to realise that, apart from one small venture, I hadn't published anything het for over a year.
Scary.
Ooooooooohh!!
Radio just announced that the first play of the new Marilyn Manson single will be at 12.00am on Tuesday coming up, with the man himself hosting the show with Mary-Ann Hobbes.... never listened to the Rock Show before, but think I will stay up this week. :)
Right. Back to scivng revision... Namarie! ~Hathy_Col~
