May. 13th, 2003 05:49 pmHave warmed up, although the little alien for cold is really cute. I didn't know he existed! So will put hot for this one, because I reckon he's cute too.
Am now reading Thundera Tiger fic. My god, bu she's good. And FUNNY!
"I don’t believe this," Pippin growled. "I’m enduring hard labor at Gandalf’s insistence and you’re waxing philosophic. You Brandybucks are a strange lot, there’s no mistaking that. What was that question you asked me once? Something about an elf and singing?"
"If an elf sings in a forest and no one is around to hear him, does he make a sound?" Merry supplied, closing his eyes and relaxing as the sun’s rays soaked through his cloak and warmed his skin.
"Of course he makes a sound."
Merry cracked his eyes back open and watched as Sam joined them in enjoying the early sun’s rays. "But how do you know he makes a sound?" Merry asked. "No one is around to hear it."
"The elf is around to hear it," Sam answered.
"But how do we know the elf is singing out loud?" Merry responded. "Perhaps he’s singing in his head."
"What a stupid question," Sam said at length after considering Merry’s words. Pippin nodded in agreement and Merry chuckled.
It goes on to have Legolas thinking about it. Yay Thundera Tiger. She has restored my faith in Legolas fangirls. They can write well.
Oh, and one last thing I have to add: I saw the BEST thing in Forbidden Planet today. I was browsing, and I suddenly spotted some bobbleheads that looked... familiar. Mainly because one of them was wearing a boonie hat. Looking closer, I spotted one wearing a cap. And one with blonde, styled hair. And finally, one with a Jaffa uniform.
Yes. Thats right. SG-1 Bobbleheads. I laughed myself to death, before looking and laughing again. I WANT ONE!!
But I will never buy one, because I am VERY cheap. Ah well.
Namarie! ~Hathy_Col~
P.S Gill, I know you're reading this. Whats the link to your blog? Comment or something...
