I'm a little teapot short and stout... this is my handle, and this is my... other handle... OH GOD I'M A TEAPOT!
Take me home, you evil maniac!
Unpleasent But Necessary Death To Our Short-Term Enemies!

I'm on a rnadom quote kick. So sue me. :)
Since my last, donkey-raving post (which resulting in my shouting about it in the middle of a lake. Will explain later) I'm am feeling TALKATIVE because I have about a billion and eight things to say...
Did food tech yesterday. Despite my original bitching about having taken it, I suppose, with hindsight, it was a good thing. Better than woodwork or electronics, anyway. The exam was... well... I hesitate to use the word fun. Or easy. But it was... pleasant. I spent an hour happily designing kebabs and packaging. Once that was over, buggared off to script reharsal, made arse of self, came home. Same as usual. :) While in the car, on aforementioned way home, Mum tells me that Maureen's rang, with changes to Friday night's Guide meeting, and that we're going canoeing up in Tawd Vale.
My original response was a mutter about large amount of history and chemistry revision to do. Mum just looked and me, and I quote: "All work and no play makes Colleen a dull girl."
Slightly affronted by this, I decided to go canoeing. Which was... well... fun. Despite the fact I spent a great deal of it ranting about the bloody donkey. As was the only remaining One-Star canoeist (hell, I'm old) I got to have a slight power trip, but yet still ended up falling in when I ... er... fell off the end. I don't think I'll explain that one. After eventually paddling to shore (big ass canoe AND paddle AND trying to guides the Guides :-) in AND trying to avoid the other clueless Guides sharing the lake) I went and got changed, and I noticed a strange prickling feeling on my arm. Put it down to drying off.
While listening to Maureen talk about overnight camp next week (Not going! Dance!) I noticed that my arms really, really hurt, in particular the bit underneath (the paler bit) and felt a little like having a lot of splinters and people rubbing them the wrong way.
Meet Mum, she tries to take my bag off me, touches my arm, resulting in a round of screaming "Nonononono don't tocuh my arms!!" and the eventual realisation that I reacted to the nasty scummy water which I'd spent rather too long in. Sat in car feeling in considerable pain, got home, literally dived into shower. Felt better, until water cooled off again.
Pain got WORSE. Spent night attempting not to touch arms with ANYTHING. However, due to canoeing type exercise, went to bed after Jonathon Ross (Marilyn Manson live!) and conked out ridiculously early.
Woke up at 11.00am (bliss!) since dance was reschedualed, and right arm still hurt, and even now, fairly painful...
I must be the only person in the world allergic to bloody pondwater.
Dance was... exhausting. In the extreme. Learnt a new one, which was just... bleargh. Good dance, I'm just frigging KNACKERED.
In other news- Leavers Do is back on! Organised by someone else, it might actually work this time. Fingers crossed....
I've rabbited an awful lot today. And I still need to comment on Buffy and Angel. But I won't. Today. :) I'll just say this- is it wrong to actually really like the demon in this weeks Angel. "Why you not dead?" Oh, and that Spike made a Monty Python reference. Yay him!
Gah. Mum is calling. And I shall run away, and revise tomorrow....
