Well, back again. Some improvement on computer applicatiopn size, but I'll be frelled if the text on web applications can be read. As someone with pretty crap eyesight, it's beginning to get painful...

Does ANYONE know how to increase the size of the text in applications? I can get it on Start and whatnot, it's just things like on my Friends page. It burns my eyes. Really.

ANYWAY. It's my dance show on Thursday! And in the audience, there will be:

Thursday: Grandparents and Mum
Friday: Guidey people- Jeanette, Maureen, Lyndsey, Ashleigh, Sarah and Emily *groan* And my Mum will be backstage, which means she generally sneaks off, abandoning six year olds who she's supposed to be keeping quiet, and watches the show instead.
Saturday: Katie and Jess, plus full contingent of parents. Yes, thats right. My mother, once more.

So I'm actually really nervous now. Normally, it's grandparents one night and parents the next, enabling me to have a full night of no-one there. Therefore, I'm not nervous that night, it goes off without a hitch, and subsequently I'm not nervous. With someone in the audience EVERY night, I'm not going to be able to fall into this pattern. Eeeep.

And my Mrs Bat costume is TERRIBLE. They wanted a McGonagall effect, but instead I'm wearing my Mums skirt and an old school blouse and feeling distinctly like a child who is dressing up. *sighs* On the plus side, have zippy Miners costume and Chicago costume, so wahey!

Oooh, new chapter of Fear No Darkness by Thundera Tiger... shame it's hell to read, mind. Stupid small fonts on web thingie! PLEASE comment if you have the faintest clue...

Righty. I'm off then. I have a computer that works.. *happy sigh*

A McGonagall effect?

Run this by me again.
(Isn't this the one where they make you dance inside a bag?)

Okay... basic plot of the show:

1. It's a blatent Harry Potter riff. It's a magic school, apparently. My role is, basically, Plot Exposition!Teacher, where I explain how they've got to go and do a project on the history of the school. Off kiddies go. (cue the Saved By The Bell dance)

2. Three main kiddies toddle off, discuss what they're going to do, and go to the attic. Which I forbade them to do. But anyway. (cue spiders, ghosts, skeltons and mice dances. Becuase we needed to get the nursery classes in as early as possible)

3. They find attic. They find trunk in attic. They find ballet stuff in attic, one does a spell, dress comes to life (kinda) and we have a ballet solo. Kids decide to see entire ballet. Another spell. Cue Big Ballet with about 30 odd people in it.

4. End of ballet. Kids can't get back from the ballet. Build a time machine. (Plot hole ahoy!) Travel various bits of time, with dialogue between...:

5. Victorian times. Cute kids wandering around and dancing out of time to Feed The Birds and other Mary Poppins atrocities.

6. Merseybeat section. Yellow Submarine, Beat Goes On, Let It Be, etc.

7. Interval.

8. Surface Of The Moon. Me in a Bag. Also Men In Black and 8 year olds doing ballet about stars, or something similiar.

9. Billy Elliot bit, referring to the 1980's and the strikes. Miners Tap for me (no music, just us taping. Quite good.), plus We Like To Boogie (cos it's on the film). It then leads onto a brief Swan Lake section, explanation being that it's Billy as an adult. *shrugs* We have a lad for this bit. Yay us.

10. Broadway. This is a bad section for me, since have a tap (Lullaby On Boradway) and two moderns (Hot Honey Rag from Chicago and There She Goes from Fame). Also other stuff with the grade just elow us. i.e. my sister.

11. End-Of-Term Carnival section. Mexican type thing, Aye Carumba! from Aye Carumba, Rhythm Of The Night from Moulin Rouge, and finally the finale.

End.

So, the Mcgonagall effect is, basically, to continue the shabby Harry Potter-esque thing we have going on. Makes sense? (Don't worry if not, don't understand it myself)
