hathycolGrandad's not here anymore. :~( He came, he saw, he woke me up by throwing water at me, he went home.
So... yesterday. I hate eye make-up. I cannot apply it for love nor toffee due to the fact I can't wear glasses, so I just ended up bunging it on and sticking my glasses over the top to disguise it. My speaking part went quite well- I was fairly loud, and the best part was coming out and various family members saying "I didn't know you were able to do drama..." which was a strange compliment, but the best.
Dances were... weird. Bag dance was crap. No suprise there. Miners tap was scary, as my shoe lace broke 20 seconds befoire I was due to go on, and I had to stamp gently with my left foot. I slipped a bit in Fame, Chicago went well, silver tap was crap as per usual, finale was fun... It was a good night, really. And one of the kids gave me a wand! Cos I'm Mrs Bat! *breaks down into tears* That is SO sweet... I'm not sure why. I just think it's sweet, you know? Bless their little hearts. They still don't know my name- I had to take a gaggle of them down to the loo, and they all called me Mrs Bat.
Funfunfun. Only another two nights to go.
Dog is currently at the vets. There's something up with his leg, as well as him being generally too subdued. It's weird... will tell you more when I know more. No, wait, newsflash- just come through the door. Might be his hips. :~( X-Ray on Monday... so will let you kmow when I know more.
Anyway, it's four o clock. I should probably go and get ready to leave again- white pants, ugh...
